Every family received a gift of some sort. It was amazing and humbling to see people who never smile, laugh and grin at receiving a bag, or backback, with a few cheap toys and personal hygiene items.
Truly humbling.
Maybe some of these pictures will help your hearts as well, as you prepare for the big event, the joys and hurt feelings you will undoubtedly experience tomorrow morning.

I love the picture with you giving the young boy gift. The funny part to me is that your giving a kid a backpack who already has a backpack - save it for the next kid in line. Ha. Love you guys!
